2014 Santa Workshop Session Review

Have you ever dreamed of a Santa experience that didn’t involve waiting in long lines, crying kids, impatient dads, only to get up to Santa and find him not Jolly at all?  Well I have.  I dreaded the yearly trek to the mall with my kids.  Then I hated the photos!

Fast forward to what I like to create each Christmas for my customers – a happy  experience.  Three years ago I started doing Limited Edition Santa Workshop sessions.  I shopped for tools, a workbench, a vintage typewriter, vintage toys…. all keeping in mind what I wanted to build – a magical set for Santa to interact with children for about an hour while I captured the precious faces looking at Santa in awe!  Plus who doesn’t love sharing a little milk-n-cookies with Santa?

This year, I ordered new wood backdrops from my favorite company Lemondrop stop

And

Sexual Health and Cancer Treatment

I love the lodge feel of the set now.

The session follows a storyline written by my friend Jessica Rice and tweaked by me to fit each family album I create.  It’s a beautiful story and the album becomes a cherished keepsake.

We start building the set in early October and sessions begin late October.  Typically I run a limited number of sessions so if you are considering this for 2015 – you should contact me now to get on my waiting list.  Once I open session dates and times I give my current client base first chance at the dates, and anything still open I post on Facebook.

I hope all of you have a wonderful, safe Holiday.  We want to thank all of our 2014 customers for making this a great year and for allowing us to capture your memories.  I can speak for myself and Vanessa, it is a privilage to serve you and we look forward to seeing all of you again in 2015.

Be blessed.

Brenda
